When I am not baking gluten and dairy free items, you can find me playing classical compositions on the piano, reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, or practicing Yoga.

 

I graduated from The Manhattan School of Music with my BM and recently graduated Columbia University with my MA. I perform professionally across the United States and internationally. 

 

In addition to my performance and vocal coaching work at Columbia University, I incorporate my piano, music theory, and classical training to learn new music quickly and also apply these skills when supporting and directing youth in theater and in vocal training.

 

I draw from my dance and yoga experience to immerse into different characters, ranging fully and physically from the uptight comedy of Marian Paroo (The Music Man) to the heartfelt integrity of Lily Craven (The Secret Garden) and to the comic pathos of Antonia (Man of la Mancha).

 

I grew up with three older sisters in a very large musical family just north of Boston, MA. Growing up I identified very much with the family experience of the Von Trapps of The Sound of Music, and dynamics among the sisters of Little Women. Since, I have had the honor of portraying Maria in The Sound of Music – she has a pretty great name – and look forward to doing it again.

 

Recent favorite roles include: Maria (The Sound of Music), Marian (The Music Man), Lily (The Secret Garden), Antonia and u/s Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belinda (Noises Off), Miss Dorothy Brown (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Colette (La Cage aux Folles), Anna (Spring Awakening), and Rapunzel (in a COVID Into the Woods Film).

 

Recent new works includes multiple readings such as: The Hills Are Alive (Mathilde) with Evan Pappas, Paperboy (The Mother) with Don Stephenson, and the MA reading of Mistresses (Marilyn Monroe).

 

Classically trained, I performed with the Handel and Haydn Society in Boston (2014-2017) and more recently with Essential Voices USA at Carnegie Hall (2019, 2022) in “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” (featuring Ingrid Michaelson with Hannah Winkler and Allie Mos with special guests: Jason Mraz, Will Chase, Ian Axel and Chad King; ) also  “Broadway Blockbusters” (featuring Nikki Renee Daniels, Jordan Donica, Matt Doyle, and Melissa Errico; “Under the Mistletoe” with Ashley Brown; ) and Stephen Schwartz’s 70th Birthday Celebration at the Hudson Theater.

 

Current releases include background vocals in Macklemore’s “Next Year”. Keep an eye out for me in the Netflix film Don’t Look Up, the popular crime series Dexter: New Blood, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, aaaaaannnd…. Family Feud!
